Just into my second day stay of a month long visit, working here in Duncan. This is my second long time stay at this older, not as modern hotel. I have a small kitchenette, but room is spacious. Temperatures are in the 30's here so the poor a/c is having a losing battle, not cold but still cooler than out side. I'm on the side not facing the highway, so quite quiet at night.
Staff is great and helpful that should make it a 3 star. BUT the Rooms are dated and cobbled together this place needs work because it is not worth 180 a night. Co worker had ants in his room. Can hear people walking around in the rooms above very clearly. This hotel is not in the best location. Was woken up by a group of transients yelling and screaming in the middle of the night outside. Lots of sketchy people walking around through the parking lot all day looking in car windows etc. If it was not for the staff this would be a 1 star review. I would not recommend staying here unless you absolutely have to.
The rooms are standard size for the price your paying. A bit dated but nice. A restaurant there is always good too. Not too far away from some amenities. Decent enough
Our experience was much better than I expected. Rooms are big and clean and service is really good. The breakfast is nice but very simple. Basically just cereal and waffles.
The rooms are basic and price is comparable but what I found to be the most disappointing was that breakfast was ment to be at 6.30am and I confirmed this before booking and when checking in. Nobody turned up to start the service and we had to do with out. I checked back at 7 when we left and all the lights where off and doors locked.
