Beautiful old house with a welcoming character and even more welcoming hosts. Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and appropriately creaky stairs. Games galore or books to read for quiet afternoons or evenings.
Our host, Teresa, is why I return to the McLay House every year. She willingly does all the extras that you won't receive in a hotel setting. Each breakfast was a delicious feast specially prepared with each guest in mind. She makes you feel like family. The McLay House used to be an old hunting lodge. It has a huge front veranda which became our place to socialize every night with a cocktail. There are many things to do in the area, including wine tasting, local music venues, and weekly outdoor food markets. Just ask Teresa!
We love McLay Heritage House. Theresa and Jim are the most wonderful, friendly hosts. We just returned from our second stay and already miss it. Theresa makes scrumptious breakfasts, especially her scones and oatmeals! Her attention to the details of your stay with her is unsurpassed. She has recommended and reserved local eateries that did not disappoint. She makes us feel like we are at home. We will gladly return next year!!

Lovely home and lovely hosts that went above and beyond the call to make our group stay the most comfortable experience possible. If I could give our hosts more then 5 stars I absolutely would. Definitely recommend this B&B. Best B&B I've stayed at, hands down!
