I would recommend this clinic to all my friends and family. I will not go anywhere else. They have always taken the best care of my 2 cats. Whether its an appointment, an emergency or me just being worried about nothing. They're always right there to help. Thanks to you wonderful humans for taking care of my fur babies.

Central Cowichan Animal Hospital has always taken great care of our little doxie. All the assistants and the vets have bent over backwards to look after him and just shower him with kindness and lots of love. Feel very grateful to have them care for our little dog. He could not be in better hands! Highly recommend them!

We had called them because our cat was throwing up several times a day and we were worried about her. When we called them they told us they were not taking any more clients. If this is how they treat sick animals I hate to see how they treat healthy ones. This shows they do not care about the sick animals.

They have always taken great care of our pets.

I could not get an appointment with my regular vet so I tried calling Central Cowichan.. They too were extremely overbooked.. The staff on the phone was very polite and helpful.. I could tell it was hard for her to turn away any animal.. She helped me with names of other animal hospital even being as busy as she was.. I did get Nadia in for an emergency operation and she is now home with me sleeping off the meds she was given to sedate her.. I see a lot of negative comments from pet owners about not being accepted for emergency walk in operations who have never taken their pet in to this clinic before.. I can understand being upset and having the feeling of helplessness for the care of their pet, but Central is not responsible for your pets situation.. Owning a pet is a huge responsibility and that responsibility comes down to one person, "The Owner" you.. If you can't work your way through these situations responsibly and with a mature respectful demeanour then maybe you shouldn't have pets.. Maybe you should go back and do the 7 years + of school so you can give your pet proper care.. When a clinic finds you an alternate clinic that can care for your pet at a time they can not, that is as far as I'm concerned going above and beyond for your pet.. I am sorry you (the staff at Central Cowichan) have had to even read those posts.. I know you couldn't take care of my pet for me today, but I appreciate your help with giving me the names of other clinics.. The other clinics did not pan out, but I was able to get her in at my regular vet for an emergency surgery and I will know more about the mass that was removed on this upcoming tuesday.. Thank you for your help.
