Great place to check out, was pretty clean and had a bunch of paths and walkways to move around

Also known as the train station, nice spot to sit and enjoy the sun and flowers

Went to the park for the 39 days of July music festival amd it was lovely. My kids got their first live music experience. They played in the grass, danced and loved exploring the train tracks. I also liked that they had port-a-potties on site during the festival. Any other time the only washroom open is near the museum amd is opened/locked up by the city (from what I've been told). Everytime I've tried to use it during the Saturday market or late afternoons it's never open.

39 days of July taking place right now! Free music, 12 till 8, until August long weekend.

This park is the centre of activity during the summer, with the notable exception of the farmers market. A continuing string of events draws the community together.
