They will make you wait 3hrs for a scheduled appointment. Like seriously. Why bother scheduling patients if youll be 3 hours late. Ridiculous. It didnt just happen with my mom, seems like thats what they would always do...waste peoples time! Poor elderly people who has to wait in the waiting room for hours when they couldve just waited in the comfort of their homes and come in when they would actually be seen!
Just went to get antibiotics after getting an emergency tooth extraction and was slammed against the wall by a doctor for trying to leave because I was tired of waiting. It's nice to know putting on your jacket gets you tossed around like that. Never going to this hospital again, not into the patient abuse
I had an ultrasound appointment booked which was already confirmed. Then I get a call less than 24 hours saying they chose my spot to give to someone else. I told the receptionist no that I would like to keep my appointment because I already confirmed it and had to work around my husband to take time off work to take me. She then told me shed have the ultrasound department call me. I never heard back from them and so I assumed there was no changes for my appointment since I didnt get a call or message. So I go to my appointment the next day and I check in and no one tells me my appointment is cancelled. So when the technician comes out to take me in she tells me theyve changed my appointment without even notifying me and lying to me that they left a message telling me they changed my appointment. Then they tell me they needed to change my appointment for someone urgent. If it was so urgent then the patient should have been booked in the day before, and if it was so urgent the ultrasound department should have stayed a bit longer just so this person could have her ultrasound if it was so important. Whos to say that someone else case is more important than your own? Everyones case is important so as a health care provider do the right thing and stay a bit later to accommodate that person who needed they appointment. Because if it was so important they should have taken the patient in when she called or Stay an extra hour at work to get her to come in. This hospital is very inconsiderate and they expect patients to give them a 2-3 day courtesy call for any changes or cancellation yet they cant even do the same for their patients? No respect, and rude nurses and technicians. No one tries to find a solution they just do whats best for themselves not the patient. They dont put their patients first or treat them all equally.
Won't let me see my kid in recovery room after they said ten min an hour ago he's 5 yrs old this is like kid kidnapping !@#$ this place do not go here a ditch is better
Let's give a couple classic examples of the exemplary experience you can expect at this wonderful hospital. First, right off the bat. Feel free to give the hospital a call to request simple information or ask a few questions. Miserable receptionist. Cold and could really care less. Might even let out a giggle upon realizing you are upset. On a power trip :) Moving along....1. One anesthesiologist on hospital floor. Several women giving birth? Well, I am sorry but only one of you ladies is able to get an epidural. Oh, you need something to relieve the pain? We have two nitrous oxygen tanks on the floor, line up! One might also be broken/out of service. 2. Checking in at the front? Be prepared for women behind the desk to be chatting away, ignoring the patients. They might even initiate eye contact, but that doesn't mean anything.3. On to the next check in desk. The person behind the desk may ask questions such as 'Why is your doctor doing this, instead of this?". Well, I am not a doctor and don't have that information off hand. Let me just call my doctor while I am here, and find out for you. 4. Be prepared to be treated like you are an idiot because you don't work in a hospital therefore if you have any questions you are treated like you are wasting their time.5. Miserable nurses all around. Hey, this is my job, I just need the money. Do I need to have any empathy, or make a patient feel calm and comfortable?
